05/30/13 The Culver Park and Recreation Department will kick off their summer “Concert in the Park” series this Friday evening at 8 p.m. with “Acoustically Speaking.” The group features Mitch Barns from Culver on percussion and vocals.
Acoustically Speaking began performing together in early 2008 and has gained in popularity in the north central and north western areas of Indiana. The quartet focuses on alternative rock from the 80’s, 90’s and new millennium. They will also perform a number of their original songs.
Culver Park and Recreation Program Director said, “Come on down to the Culver Park located on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee and help us kick off the summer full of music!”
The next Culver Park Department “Concert in the Park” will feature Steve Foresman on Saturday, June 8th at 7 p.m.
