03/11/13  The registration deadline is approaching for this year’s Young Authors’ Conference which will be held at  Bremen Elementary/Middle School on April 19th.   Guest author Michelle Houts will be speaking at the conference.  Her first book Beef Princess of Practical County is set in northern Indiana and is about a young girl who enters her calves in the local county fair.  Along with the guest author, the Bremen conference will feature a live animal exhibit presented by Bremen’s Future Farmers of America and county fair booths and games. The registration deadline is March 15th and reservations may be made by contacting your child’s teacher or by emailing lnykiel@bps.k12.in.us or cmckenzie@bps.k12.in.us
