07/12/13 If you haven’t experienced racing on the fastest dirt track in Northern Indiana, now is the time to go.  The racing is just heating up just in time for summer excitement at Plymouth Speedway.  Enjoy racing with the UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks, Thunder Stocks, USAC 600 Sprints and USAC r600w Sprints this Saturday, July 13.

Track crews have primed the dirt track to its best condition yet and the drivers are creating some interesting maneuvers during heat races and feature races.  The old saying “rubbin’ is racin’” is staring to become a part of the excitement on the track.

Mark your calendars for Aug. 3 when the Allstar Performance Michigan Cup UMP late models come to Plymouth Speedway.  This is the first ever out-of-state event by the Michigan Dirt Cup late models.  On Aug. 17, the Bob Newton Classic will include the Sprints on Dirt (SOD) series featuring three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart.  This event is sponsored by Wings, Etc and Fel-Pro Performance Gaskets.

Tickets for both events are available online at www.plymouthspeedway.net.

Join us this Saturday, July 13 and every Saturday for dirt track racing!  Gates open at 4 p.m. and racing begins at 7 p.m. ET.  Keep up to date on Facebook and Twitter.
