04/24/13 The green flag will drop at Plymouth Speedway on Saturday, April 27 at 7 p.m. ET for the start of the dirt racing season.

Weather has brought out the caution flag when trying to get the season underway.  Last week’s rain caused soft spots on the track that did not provide the ideal racing surface for the drivers.  Rain and cold temperatures have hopefully moved out of the area so the excitement everyone is waiting for can commence!

Before racing gets started, all drivers are invited to participate in practice sessions scheduled for Wednesday, April 24 and Friday, April 26 from 6 p.m. ET unti

l dusk.  Gates open Wednesday at 5 p.m. and at 4 p.m. on Friday.  If you would like to watch practice either night, General Admission is FREE.

For those drivers under 18, a parental consent, release and waiver form is required.  That information is provided on www.plymouthspeedway.net.  Regular driver registration is available both nights of practice.  Pit slab rentals are still available.

Saturday night is the big night featuring the Traxxas 600 USAC Sprint Series running on the dirt.  USAC 600 Sprints non-wing, USAC 600 Sprints Restricted Wing, Modifieds, Super Streets, and Pure Thunder Stock classes will battle it out in the Playground of Power.  For admission prices or any other information to the rules of the track or grandstands, visit www.plymouthspeedway.net.
