07/15/13 The Marshall County Drainage Board and County Commissioners will meet Monday morning.  The Drainage Board meeting is at 8:30 in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  Agenda for the meeting includes opening bids for the Logan Storm Drain project, sign maintenance contract in the amount of $11,999 and approved on July 5th for the Keyser Addition Arm to the Elmer Seltenright Ditch.  The drainage board will also consider requests of Century Link and NIPSCO to cross regulated drains. 

The Commissioners will meet at 9:30 beginning with a public hearing for the Plan Commission concerning Culver’s extra-territorial jurisdiction.  Also on the agenda is CASA Director Haley Kittrell who will give a program update and Sheriff Tom Chamberlin will seek approval for a contract employee payment.  The commissioners will also hear highway superintendent Neal Haeck update the activities of his department and county attorney report on legal issues.  In other business the commissioners are expected to appoint a new member to the Marshall County Holding Corporation. 

The Drainage Board and Commissioner’s meeting is open to the public for comments and questions.
