12/17/13 On Friday, December 13th at approximately 2:00 a.m. the Marshall County 9-1-1 Dispatch Center received a report of a battery at a residence in the 15,000 block of Carriage Way. 

Arriving at the location deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department located 24 year old Drew Flora of Plymouth and 23 year old Sean Benner of Culver. During the investigation it was determined that an altercation had occurred between the two males.  It was alleged that a firearm was involved in the incident.

  Sean Benner was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for battery resulting in bodily injury.  He was booked in on a $755 cash bond and released later on Friday after posting bond.

  Drew Flora was later arrested and lodged at the Marshall County Jail for intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal confinement with a deadly weapon and pointing a firearm.   He was booked into the jail on a $50,000 cash bond. 

Formal charges are pending from the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Indiana State Police and Plymouth EMS.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
