05/17/13 This Saturday’s Plymouth Farmers’ Market (PFM) will feature musical entertainment by Bob Pickell directing the Jefferson and Webster School students at 9 and the Master Gardeners will be on hand to demonstrate “How to Plant a Rain Garden”.  Earthworks has been partnering with the kindergarten and second grade classes at Washington Discovery School making healthy snack bars. Their Health Fair is the day before the Market and youngsters will be on hand both at the PFM and Earthworks Market to sell their healthy snack bars.  Math students from LJH will be selling corn-hole games that they made.  Funds will go toward the SOLE (Student Organized Learning Environment) class.

The PFM is held Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in River Park Square at Garro and River Streets, east of Michigan. The last day for the Market is Oct. 12, the second Saturday of the month. The Market is urging everyone to go ‘green’ so please bring your shopping bag.
