07/26/13Soul Funkshun is a five-piece band based out of South Bend specializing in Funk, Soul, R&B and more Funk.   You’ll love their sound if dance music is your thing. They feature the old-school sound of such artists as; Stevie Wonder, The Isley Brothers, Kool & The Gang, The Commodores, Sly & The Family Stones, Curtis Mayfield, The Brothers Johnson, Morris Day & The Time, KC & The Sunshine Band, Parliament Funkadelic, James Brown, Rick James, Heatwave, Michael Jackson, Prince, Bill Withers, Average White Band and much more. The group is comprised of Bob Henry on drums; Geoff Snyder with vocals; Marlon “Mouse” Moore on bass; Kyle Paulk on guitar; and Karl Edmonson on keyboard.        

All Music in the Park concerts are held in beautiful Centennial Park at the Young Amphitheater at the corner of Baker and Randolph.  Due to Baker Street construction, enter from Randolph.

Bring a lawn chair, your favorite beverage and a picnic to enjoy this special music in a delightful setting. If you don’t want to cook, help support Encore’s ‘Dine to Make a Difference’ fundraiser. Mancino’s Grinders & Pizza is graciously offering pizza by the slice or purchase a whole pizza and Delta Theta Tau will also be selling food and drinks.

Gates open at 6:00 with the performance at 7:00.
