06/21/13  This Saturday’s Plymouth Farmers’ Market (PFM) will feature a musical first—”Huckleberry Clamshell”—under the direction of Randy Jones, new owner of Wagoner’s Music Shop. They comprise a musical project that features the hardworking and talented students of the music shop.

 

Mike Good of Marshall County Solid Waste returns as ‘Bag Monster’ for ‘Environmental Awareness Day’ and tips on ‘going green’. The Market is urging everyone to go ‘green’ so please bring your shopping bag! Vendors will also be happy to re-use any plastic potting containers.

 

Cyndi Cole of Purdue Extension will be on hand with a nutrition presentation from 9 to 11 as well as Tim Castle with a taekwondo demonstration by youngsters from Plymouth Family Taekwondo.

 

The PFM is held Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in River Park Square at Garro and River Streets, east of Michigan. The last day for the Market is Oct. 12, the second Saturday of the month. The Market is urging everyone to go ‘green’ so please bring your shopping bag.

 

New vendors are always welcome. Applications for vendors and not-for-profits are available on the website at www.plymouthfarmersmarket.com or by contacting Tom Keb, Market Manager, at (574) 217-5776.
