More than 110 mothers and guardians attended the “Muffins for Moms” program at Triton Elementary School the morning of November 15th. The students and their parents had muffins and then Mr. Jeremy Riffle, principal, talked about special programs and initiatives happening at the school and answered parents’ questions.  The event was before school at 7:45 and food was provided by the PTO.

All of the students and staff at Triton Elementary School brought in items to pack 190 gift boxes to ship to children around the world for this Christmas. Each grade level had a specific item they donated to this project like markers, dental floss, toothbrushes, candy, etc.  Community supporters also donated items and the money to pay the shipping costs.  The fourth graders had the privilege of packing the boxes and preparing them for shipment.  The students are now going to track where the packages are going in the world using technology. Fourth graders pictured packing the boxes are: Hanna Hooley, Valerie Eib, Isaac Lemler, Brody Thompson, Christopher Manhardt, Kylie Musilli, Makayla Boyne and Tayla Lynd.
