08/16/13  The 2013 Falloween Fest in Walkerton is a 3-Day Fall Festival that takes place on the campus of John Glenn High School.  The festival begins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, September 13th with a Grand Parade and continues on through September 15th with a variety of events.   The Falloween is a family oriented festival to celebrate the fall season and brings families from Saint Joseph, Marshall, LaPorte and Starke counties and more to Walkerton. Falloween Festival is a fundraiser for John Glenn High School with funds used to provide scholarships for students at John Glenn.

 

The festival offers a variety of food booths, carnival rides by Burton Brothers Entertainment, Bingo and let’s not forget the Farmer’s Market where they will have pumpkins and fall decorations for sale.  Tyner’s IOOF Lodge will host a fish fry following the parade and the FFA members will be selling mums all weekend long.

 

The Grand Parade is still looking for participants and floats.  Parade registration deadline is Friday, August 30th.
