12/03/13 Each year Miller’s Senior Living Community extends an invitation to area individuals, businesses, clubs and organizations to decorate a Christmas tree that captures the personality of the business or organization.   The decorating is now underway for the Annual Festival of Trees.   Voting for the Festival of Trees will take place at the facility’s Holiday Open House.  The top three winners are awarded prizes.  The trees are on display throughout the month of December for all to enjoy.

Miller’s Annual Holiday Open House is scheduled for Sunday, December 8thh from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  The Festival of Trees is not the only exciting event scheduled for the day.   Guests will enjoy holiday music provided by Annette Ray and Kathie Jarrell both members of the Marshall County Church Orchestra.   Horse drawn sleigh rides will be a highlight of the day.  The Coffee Lodge Coffee Cart will be on hand as well as homemade refreshments from the Miller’s dietary department.   And to make the day complete Santa with his helpers will be in the Main Lobby to take gift requests from all who come to see him – old and young alike.  This will be a great photo opportunity so don’t forget your camera.

Miller’s Holiday Open House and Festival of Trees is free and open to the public.  The public is invited to bring their family and friends for a day filled with holiday cheer and lots of fun.  For more information call 574-936-9801 and ask for Anna Corbett or Cindy Flagg.
