The state’s best in high school track and field converge in Bloomington this weekend as the IHSAA conducts the 110th Boys State Finals on Friday and the 40th
Girls State Finals on Saturday. Both meets will be contested at the Robert C. Haugh Track and Field
Complex on the campus of Indiana University with field events beginning at 3 pm ET and running events at 4:15 pm ET.
Plymouth will be represented down State this weekend.
In the GIRLS 4×800 Meter Relay… the team of: Megan Fisher (SR), Abby Patrick (sph), Allie Wright (sph), Libbie Read (sph), Debbie Anders (jr), Alex Drummond (fr) and Shelby Harrell (jr) will be participating.
(sph) Allie Wright will be running in the Girls 400 meter dash.
(SR) Megan Fisher in the Girls 800 meter dash.
On the BOYS side. Plymouth has Adam Lacefield (SR) throwing Shot Put. He has a pretty good chance of medaling considering he’s been averaging 54 ft a throw during practice this week. He qualified for state with a 51ft throw.
