06/03/13  On Thursday, May 30th Marshall County Deputy Jonathan Bryant observed two wanted subjects walking on Plum Street approaching Harrison Street in Plymouth.  While attempting to initiate contact with 24 years old Charles D. Sanders of Bremen and Anthony Porter a foot ensued.   Deputy Bryant chased Sanders and deployed his taser which immediately stopped Mr. Sanders resistance.

During the investigation officer’s discovered numerous forms of paraphernalia including a syringe along with 200 tablets of a legend drug.  Sanders was treated by Plymouth EMS for minor injuries and then taken into custody .  Anthony Porter was found to have an active warrant out of Starke County and he too was taken into custody.

Both subjects was transported to the Marshall County Jail where Charles D. Sanders was booked in for failure to appear for fines and costs with a bond of $196, resisting law enforcement with a $3,005 bond and unlawful possession or use of a legend drug. Anthony Porter was held for Starke County.

A formal report will be sent to the Marshall County Prosecutors Office for review in regards to Mr. Sanders facing several new felony charges.  Deputy Bryant was assisted by the Plymouth Police Department along with fellow Deputies of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
