05/22/13 Technology upgrades at St. Michael School have been the focus of the school’s stakeholders this spring. Recognizing the vital importance of technology in developing academic achievement and life skills, a committee consisting of parents, parishioners, and staff members examined the school’s technology needs and formulated a purchase and an implementation plan.

IPADS and MacBook Air laptop computers with secure charging carts, plus IPAD trays that house units in classrooms were purchased with money donated by parishioners, parents, and school committees.  The St. Michael School students and staff greatly appreciate the contributions from the Leonard and Joann Isban Family, Randy and Eleanor Danielson Family, John and Nadine Oliver Family, St. Michael School Advisory Board, and our Home and School Association Board.  Their interest and generosity ensure that St. Michael students will utilize the latest technology tools to support learning and will provide teachers with on-going training in many areas.

The St. Michael School technology committee members are commended for their work and expertise in designing the school-wide plan.  Committee members are Mr. Mike Magee, Mr. JJ Schmiedlin, Mrs. Rachel Davis, Mrs. Nadine Oliver, Mrs. Linda Shorter, Mr. Joe Lark, and Mr. Brian Manns
