03/08/12 Did you know that every box of Girl Scout Cookies is helping girls build important life and leadership skills, as well as financial literacy?  Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana, in partnership with Walgreens, will be selling cookies during Girl Scout Cookie STOCK UP SATURDAY, this Saturday, March 9th!  Visit your local Walgreens store from 10:00am to 2:00pm and fill your cupboards or freezers for just $3.50 per box.  Available varieties are: Thin Mints, Shortbread, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Caramel deLites, Thanks-A-Lot, Lemonades, and the new Mango Cremes…a cookie infused with Nutrifusion!

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led business in the country and through cookie program activities, girls learn how to plan, build teams, speak up, make decisions, solve problems and manage resources.  Because girls are the main beneficiaries of all Girl Scout cookie activities, these skills help girls learn to be leaders in their own lives and in our communities.

Remember, time is running out to get your Girl Scout Cookies before they disappear for another year.   The 2013 Cookie Program only lasts until March 12th.  Don’t forget…visit your local Walgreens this Saturday, March 9th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm, for Girl Scout Cookie STOCK UP SATURDAY!
