04/24/13 Dean Byers, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County announced the kick-off its “‘A Brush with Kindness” housing repair and home maintenance program.  The plan is to offer services to low-income homeowners in need minor home repairs, yard work, exterior painting and routine homeowner repairs.

The work is done by volunteers who use donated materials whenever possible.  The homeowner must meet the qualifications of homeownership and not be over the income limits.

ABWK is planning to partners with the Town of Bourbon for their spring clean up program scheduled for May 11th. Volunteer groups will be working on selected homeowners on that day to help improve the exterior of their homes.
