04/25/13 Culver Community School Superintendent Brad Schuldt is reminding parents of kindergarten students that enrollment for the 2013-2014 school year is today. Kindergarten Roundup will be held today Thursday, April 25th at 6:00 PM in the Culver Elementary School cafeteria. To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be five years old on or before August 1st, 2013. Children do not need to attend this informational meeting with parents. This early registration is critical in the planning for next year’s kindergarten program.
During this meeting, parents will be informed about required health records, forms needed for registration, kindergarten screening, Indiana curriculum standards and programs available for kindergarteners. Parents should bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate, to verify the date of birth and the child’s immunization record. If a parent cannot come on Thursday, April 25th please contact Culver Elementary at 842-3389 or 542-4017 to make other arrangements.
