05/29/13 Just before 3 p.m. Tuesday the Marshall County 9-1-1 Dispatch Center received an emergency call of a single vehicle crash on State Road 17 just south of 10th Road.
Police have not released details of the crash but being on the scene you could see that the newer, southbound, pick-up truck traveled off the west side of the roadway near 10621 through a long grassy area, into a newly planted farm field and into a tree-lined fence row striking a tree head on and then rolling onto the passenger’s side.
57 year old Manis Stacy of Knox was killed in the crash. He was an employee of Hehr.
