01/07/13 On Wednesday, January 2nd at approximately 9:30 AM, Indiana State Trooper Jason Faulstich was patrolling on US 31 near 5A Road when he initiated a traffic stop on an SUV who he observed exceeding the speed limit. Upon further investigation it was found that the driver, 44 year old Lisa M. Owens of Bristol, Indiana had been drinking. She was accompanied by another female as well as a juvenile. Mrs. Owens submitted to a chemical test and tested over the legal limit. She was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Passenger less than 18 years of age. Owens was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a $1,505 bond.
