06/07/13 This Saturday’s Plymouth Farmers’ Market (PFM) will feature musical entertainment by our favorite cowboy, Mike Lintner, at 9:30 and Phil Grossman is bringing antique tractors.   Have questions on how your garden grows—or doesn’t? Feel free to ask any of the vendors for their expertise and advice.   The Marshall County Humane Society is helping out with the market’s desire to be ‘green’. They have created recycled shopping bags out of dog food bags!  ‘Sheep to Shawl’ will feature spinners from Moontree and Bob Yoder will show where it all starts—shearing the sheep.

Also at the Market this Saturday will be Autism Resources of Marshall County.  They will be selling cookies for a dollar and t-shirts for $12.

The PFM is held Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in River Park Square at Garro and River Streets, east of Michigan. The last day for the Market is Oct. 12, the second Saturday of the month. The Market is urging everyone to go ‘green’ so please bring your shopping bag or buy one from the MC Humane Society!

After the market, head up to Michigan Street for the 4th Annual P-Town Cruz’n Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to cars, there will be a pizza challenge and door prizes with two 40″ flat screen TVs given away. The show is free and proceeds from the other activities will go to the Marshall County Humane Society.

New vendors are always welcome. Applications for vendors and not-for-profits are available on the website at www.plymouthfarmersmarket.com or by contacting Tom Keb, Market Manager, at (574) 217-5776. Booth space for vendors remains at $10 per week per booth. Not-for-profit booths are free but limited to once a month. Like us on Facebook at plymouthfarmersmarketinc.
