06/27/13 Miller’s Senior Living Community is hosting Lunch and a Movie on the third Friday of each month through October. Approximately 25 guests plus residents attended the June movie which was “THE HELP”. The Miller’s dietary department chose a “themed” meal which included fried chicken, potato salad, and green beans and shoo fly pie. The movie was shown in the Recreation Center following lunch. Door Prize winner was Alberta Millikan.
The Next Lunch and a Movie will show on Friday, July 19th. The themed meal will be your choice of a hot dog or corn dog, your choice of French fries or onion rings, taffy apple salad and a funnel cake for dessert. Rodgers and Hammerstein’s 1962 “STATE FAIR” starring Pat Boone and Ann Margret will be the movie for the day. The lunch fee is $5.00. RSVP’s are required by 7/12/13 by calling 574-936-9801.
