At 7:26 this morning the Plymouth Fire Department responded to an accident on US 30 which appeared to involve a semi and another vehicle. Following the crash a huge fire erupted.
The accident happened in the eastbound lanes of US 30 in the construction zone where traffic is already down to one lane. The accident occurred just west of the railroad crossing between Pioneer Drive and Oak Drive.
Traffic from US 30 is being diverted on to Lincoln Highway until the scene can be cleared.
