02/13/13 Marshall County Tourism is encouraging cities, towns and non-profit organizations in Marshall County to apply for grants to do marketing projects or help promote their festivals, events, exhibits and programs during 2013.

The goal of the grant program is to help fund promotion of tourism projects that positively impact Marshall County’s economy, specifically those which have broad appeal in attracting visitors to the area.

The grants can be used for such things as advertising, printing and promotional expenses that bring visitors to Marshall County and encourage overnight stays. The funds can also be used by municipalities and non-profit organizations to develop brochures, websites and other tools that encourage visitation.

Organizations interested in being a part of the 2013 grant application and guidelines should contact info@visitmarshallcounty.org or request by phone.  Applications may also be picked up at Marshall County Tourism at 220 N. Center Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. Deadline for applications in March 18, 2013.  For more information, call Marshall County Tourism at (574) 936-1882.
