04/09/13 The Marshall County Economic Development Corporation is pleased to announce that is has hired Jay M. Bahr, MPA, as Executive Director effective April 15th. Mr. Bahr most recently worked for the Ohio Department of Development as a Regional Workforce Director in their Toledo, Ohio office. In this capacity he assisted 20 counties in northwest Ohio with work force and economic development initiatives. Jay has 20 years of passionate public sector management with emphasis on education, workforce and community development. Mr. Bahr received his Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Oh and his Masters in Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
The Board of Directors for the MCEDC conducted a national search resulting in eight very qualified candidates being interviewed from around the nation.
