GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The Chargers men’s basketball lost a conference game to Grand Rapids Community College 71-55.  The victory brings their record to 7-8 on the regular season and 1-4 in MCCAA.

Coach Butcher stated, “We found ourselves in a familiar place up 3 points with 9 minutes left. Unfortunately, we found ourselves in a familiar place at the end of the game as well. We have to start making winning plays and develop a mentality where we put teams away instead of a mentality where we are playing not to lose our lead. I am still very confident in this group and what we can accomplish.”

Top performances were turned in by Rosey Green (South Bend, IN) who contributed 16 points and 4 rebounds for the Chargers while Riley Angeli (Saulte Sainte Marie, MI) had 11 points and 3 rebounds on the night.
