JACKSON, MI – The Chargers men’s basketball team lost a conference game to Jackson Community College Monday 87-79.  The loss brings their record to 7-12 on the regular season and 1-8 in MCCAA.

Coach Butcher commented, “We put ourselves in position to win again and did not take advantage of the opportunity. No time to rest as we have two more games this week. We will keep working to correct the things that are beating us.”

Top performances were turned in by Jacob Frazier (Niles, MI) with 17 points and 5 rebounds.  Rosey Green (South Bend, IN) contributed 17 points and 8 assists for the Chargers.

The Chargers continue MCCAA play when they host Lansing Community College on Wednesday, February 6 with tipoff at 7:30p.m.
