10/24/13 A small gathering of people came together for a candlelight vigil Tuesday evening in the Marshall County Court House lawn to pray for and remember those whose lives have been affected by meth.

Marshall County rating one of the top three Indiana counties where meth labs have been seized.

There are a lot of facts to meth people are blind to and unaware of,” said Linda Clevenger, the brainchild who formed the group Northern Indiana Meth Watch.

Meth Watch is a group of people who care about their neighbors and community and want to talk about ways to end addiction. They meet once a month and while trying raise awareness and finding a solution to this growing problem it’s a choice to partake in the events.

Prior to the candlelight vigil volunteers tied red ribbons on the trees downtown in hopes to bring awareness to the community that Marshall County does have a meth problem.
