08/02/13 Traffic on US 30 was interrupted for a short time Wednesday morning for a two vehicle accident about 5:30.
Marshall County Police Officer Travis O’Neal investigated the crash between a 2003 Ford Focus and a 2007 Saturn.
18 year old Cesar Quintana Jimenez of Plymouth was traveling northbound on Plymouth Goshen Trail in the Ford Focus. He told Officer O’Neal that he stopped at US 30 to cross and claimed to have looked for oncoming traffic and didn’t see anything. As he proceeded to cross the eastbound lanes he pulled into the path of the Saturn driven by 23 year old Zachary M. Taylor of Plymouth.
Impact from the crash was in the driver’s door of the Ford Focus. Jimenez complained of chest pain but refused medical treatment at the scene. Taylor was not injured.
