10/28/13  On Thursday, October 24th at 2:30 p.m. Bourbon Police Officer Rick Kanarr responded to Morris & Sons Inc. located at 208 East Quad Street in Bourbon in reference to an auto theft complaint.  Arriving at the location, office staff of Morris & Sons said that they were missing one of their pickup trucks from their property.  It was believed to have been taken during the late evening hours of Wednesday, October 23rd or early morning hours of Thursday, October 24th. 

The description of the stolen truck was dispatched as a white, 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with Indiana plate TK369LBB.  The truck had mounts for a snow plow and mounts on the rear of the truck for a salt spreader attachment although neither the plow nor the spreader was on the truck.  Both sides of the truck had the company logo of Morris & Sons Excavating on it.

  Friday morning Plymouth Police Officer John Weir located the stolen truck near Lake Avenue and Plum Street, back behind DAC Enterprise at 400 Lake Avenue.

The truck was impounded and arrangements were made to return it to the business it was stolen from. 

The investigation into this auto theft continues.
