12/04/13 The Marshall County Museum in downtown Plymouth will be collecting monetary donations and snack item at the Museum for the Blessing in a Backpack. This program feeds 200 students each weekend in the Plymouth School System.

A Blessing in a Backpack consists of two breakfasts, two lunches, two snacks and drinks to get those students who qualify for free lunch and are selected through the weekend with nutritious food.  An $80.00 monetary donation will feed one child for every weekend for the entire school year. 

Donations will be accepted at the Marshall County Museum located at 123 North Michigan Street until Saturday, December 28th. The Museum is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
