07/01/13 Rev. John S. Korcsmar, C.S.C. has been appointed the new pastor of Saint Michael Catholic Church, effective Tuesday, July 16.Rev. Korcsmar, C.S.C., 66, is a member of Congregation of the Holy Cross and is bilingual. For 27 years and 1 month, he was pastor of Dolores Catholic Church in Austin, Texas from July 1982-July 2009.
From July 2010 to June 2011, he was associate pastor of Saint John Vianney Parish in Goodyear, Arizona.
Rev. Korcsmar, C.S.C. is coming to Saint Michael from the Our Lady of Fatima House in Notre Dame, Indiana where he has served from July 2011 to the present.
