Winter Storm Watch in effect from 7am Tuesday thru 12 am Wednesday Wintry mix of ice, sleet and snow.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for all of Marshall County.  A mix of snow, freezing rain and sleet is likely to begin Tuesday morning with light accumulations of ice possible. The precipitation is expected to mix with and change to snow early Tuesday afternoon and continue through Tuesday evening with significant snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches is possible.
Ice accumulation on roads will make travel hazardous.  The Marshall County Emergency Management Director encourage you to assess the weather situation prior to driving.   If you must travel remember to give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination.
