08/14/13 Oliver Ford’s generosity for programs in the community continues to shine through. On Tuesday morning they presented a trip to the winner of the Pack-A-Backpack donation winner.
Ms. Shirely Fleming had heard about the need for backpacks and school supplies to help the children in Marshall County go back to school well prepared. She had heard that if she donated $5 in school supplies she would receive an entry into the drawing that Oliver Ford was doing offering a $3,000 vacation. Shirley had two entries and was drawn as the winner.
Joining in the presentation were Plymouth Police Officers Shelly Cleveland and Steve DeLee along with Jennifer Houin and John Oliver.
Oliver Ford also held a check presentation on Tuesday. A Drive for your Pool sponsored by the Ford Motor Company and Oliver Ford was held earlier this summer. The funds raised were presented to Leann Senter from the Plymouth Aquatics Club and will be going toward a new pool project for the community. Jennifer Houin from Oliver Ford was excited to present a check for $6,220.
