07/25/13 Oliver Ford in Plymouth has jumped on board with the annual Pack-A-Backpack campaign sponsored by Plymouth FOP Lodge 195.
For the past 10 years the FOP has gathered school supplies and then distributed them to the councilors in the various schools around the county. Last year approximately 600 backpacks were distributed and lots more school supplies. This year the goal is between 600 and 700 backpacks. To attain their goal the group is relying on the generosity of the communities in Marshall County to step up to the plate to help out.
Oliver Ford understands the needs facing families in the county and has offered an incentive to get people donating school supplies. For every $5.00 worth of school supplies you bring into the dealership on East Jefferson Street you will receive a change to win a VACATION for two. You could enjoy a trip to Las Vegas including airfare, a Carnival Cruise or a stay in CanCun. You pick the vacation you want.
Oliver Ford is now collecting school supplies and backpacks. You can stop by the front desk during normal business hours and register your name and phone with Gracie to be entered into the drawing that will be held on August 12th.
What a great way to get the community interested in helping children in Marshall County go back to school with the new supplies they need to be successful.
