One Dead in Head-On Crash on US 31 at LaVille Elementary

  12/31/13 The Marshall County Coroner has been dispatched to a head-on crash on US 31 just south of Tyler Road. 

Marshall County Police and emergency services were dispatched just before 8 p.m. to the north bound lanes in front of LaVille Elementary School where it appears that an automobile crossed the median and crashed head-on into a northbound SUV.

MedFlight from Memorial Hospital landed on the north bound lanes of US 31 and transported one patient to the South Bend trauma center.  Paramedics from the Plymouth Fire Department also transported at least one patient to Memorial Hospital.
