Commissioners to Meet Monday Morning

  12/02/13 The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning beginning at 8:30 in their second floor meeting room of the County Building.

They will conduct a public hearing for ordinance 2013-20 which deals with increasing the bonds for contractor registering requirements. Other agenda items include the quarterly report from EMA Director Clyde Avery, a personnel replacement request from Michael Marshall in the IT Director.

Maintenance Supervisor Doug Masterson will seek waiver of the probationary pay for an employee and Gene Gray from the LEPC will discuss the Emergency Response Plan. 

Also on the agenda of the Commissioner’s meeting is a request of County Clerk Julie Fox to purchase equipment for the records department, the County Highway Department report by Superintendent Neal Haeck, County Attorney’s Report, and Auditor’s Report. 

Under Commissioner Items the Commissioners are expected to re-appoint David Bacon to the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Board of Directors and Thomas Pedavoli to the County Board of Health.  They are also expected to accept the Nepotism and Conflict of Interest Certifications. 

They will then recess until 1:15 p.m. when they will open highway bids.
