03/01/13 On Thursday, February 28th at approximately 8:07 a.m. Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Rob Hafke responded to a one vehicle accident on 14B Road just east of State Road 17.
Arriving at the scene he was advised that the driver of the 1997 Jeep SUV, 28 year old Karis Olson of Plymouth was traveling eastbound on 14B Road when she lost control of the vehicle as it crested a hill on the snow and ice covered roadway. The Jeep’s driver’s side collided with a tree on the east bound shoulder.
Karis Olson and her 3 year old daughter were transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth with minor injuries and complaints of pain.
Lyon’s Wrecker Service in Plymouth assisted with the removal of the vehicle.
