Chargers Get Huge Conference Win

  PLYMOUTH, IN – The Chargers men’s basketball won a conference game over Lake Michigan College Saturday 77-64.  The victory brings their record to 7-6 on the regular season and 1-2 in MCCAA.

Coach Butcher enthusiastically stated, “I am very proud of this team today.  We played hard and made the plays that we needed to win. We are starting to put some things together and need to keep building.”

Top performances were turned in by Demetrius Adams (Lake Station, IN) who had 23 points and 21 rebounds while Jacob Frazier (Niles, MI) added 13 points and 10 rebounds.  Rosey Green (South Bend, IN) contributed 14 points and 5 rebounds for the Chargers.  Demetrius Adams also set the Ancilla College single season record for blocked shots which was previously held by Jacoby Edmondson with 33.

The Chargers continue MCCAA play when they travel to Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Wednesday, January 16th.
