Plymouth Police Department Arrests

10/23/13 On Sunday, October 20th at 7:03 p.m. Plymouth Police Officer Benjamin C. McIntyre responded to Dollar General in Kroger’s Plaza in reference to a theft suspect located in Dollar General.  Officer McIntyre assisted by Officer Matthew Emenhiser located and arrested 19 year old Luis R. Castillo III inside of the store.  Further investigation led officer’s to Mr. Castillo motel room where he was advised by Officer McIntyre that a search of his person would be conducted for weapons before being transported.  During the search a bag of marijuana fell out of Mr. Castillo’s sweatshirt pocket and fled on foot through the Burger King parking lot across Michigan Street where he was apprehended.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on theft, resisting law enforcement and possession marijuana charges and held on a $1,505 bond.

On Monday, October 21st at 9:18 p.m. Officer McIntyre conducted a traffic stop at Markley and Western Avenue on a vehicle for a traffic violation.  During the course of the investigation of the traffic stop it was found that 23 year old Anne- Marie Dezenzo of Plymouth was operating a vehicle while suspended with a prior.  She was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $755 bond.

Later that night at 11:23 p.m. a female subject went to the Plymouth Police Department to make a report that on Sunday, October 20th she had been battered in front of her 4 year old daughter by 46 year old Jorge Cerrato of Plymouth.  Officer Paul Stamper conducted an investigation into the allegation that led him to arrest Mr. Cerrato for domestic battery in the presence of a minor and unlawful possession of a legend drug charges.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond.
