04/05/13 The Pride of Plymouth Band Department was recently notified that eight students from the high school band have been selected to participate in the annual Indiana All-State Marching Band. The band is comprised of nearly 150 students from marching bands across Indiana and will be the featured band in the Indianapolis 500 Spectacular Parade on Memorial Day weekend. Each member of the honor band will wear the uniform of their own high school band program and represent their school in the parade.
The honor band students will spend Memorial Day weekend at Butler University to rehearse and prepare for the parade event.
Plymouth High School Band had the second-largest number of students selected for this event out of all of the marching bands in the state (Danville H.S. had 9 students selected). Congratulations to the Plymouth band program and the honor band members!
