As the costs of college, vocational and technical schools continue to increase, students and their parents are searching for ways to finance their education. Therefore, Financial Aid Night is an important meeting for seniors and their parents to attend. Financial Aid representatives from Ancilla College will present the program. Information will be provided on available sources of financial assistance and the most effective method of applying for them.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the document used to apply for both federal and state aid. It is also the document used to determine the amount a family is expected to contribute toward the cost of their student’s education. The FAFSA will be discussed in detail. The FAFSA’s official website is www.fafsa.ed.gov.
All students and parents from area high school are invited to attend the Plymouth High School Financial Aid Night on Wednesdays, January the 9th at 7 p.m.
Also, that same evening at 7 p.m. in the Black Box Theater, the Plymouth High School Guidance Staff will be reviewing score reports from the 2012 PSAT test given in October. All PHS sophomores and select juniors took the test; students and parents are encouraged to attend this informational session. Individual score reports will be provided.
