The Varsity nearly equalled last nights season low effort – only one shot off the pace – shooting a 158 at Meadow Valley vs host Northridge and state ranked Northwood.  It was a hot night for scoring as Northridge fired their best round of the season – Northwood held the field at bay with all scored players in the 30’s!  Nate Kolter was overall Medalist on the night, setting a career and season low, firing a one under par 35.  Nate played well and could’ve easily improved his score as additional birdie opportunities eluded him.  Kolter birdied 3 of his 9 holes, a mark that hasn’t happened since 2006.

The JV was lead in scoring by Reis Yoder with a 44.  Like the Varsity the JV was coming off their season best (low score) last night.  Tonight they were 4 shots of the pace with a 187.
Breaking the 160 barrier on back to back nights hasn’t happened in nearly a decade for the boys program.  The fact we’ve been edged out consecutive nights by a few shots is frustrating however this acts as motivation to continue to compete and improve!

NLC play continues Thursday at PCC when Goshen comes to town at 4:30.
