12/23/13 The Plymouth High School Robotics Team had two teams travel to Indianapolis on Saturday, December 7th to compete in the Warren Central robotics state qualifying tournament.  One team (5003) consisted of Kennedy Schnieders and Joshua Kuhn while PHS’s other team (586A) consisted of Zacc Hutchings, Jeremy Shidler, and Spencer Uyhelji

Both teams did very well, Kennedy and Josh finished 2nd overall.  Hutchings, Shidler and Uyhelij finished 15th in their division.  This being their first ever robotics tourney, that is quite an accomplishment as they had to make it through 5 qualifying rounds before even getting to the tourney part of the day.

PHS’s team two was beaten in their first tournament round by the top team from Plymouth High (5003) Schnieders and Kuhn who eventually went on to finish 2nd overall.

Rich Schieber said, “This was a pretty good showing for PHS.  We are planning on taking all four of our teams to a tourney in January.”
