05/07/13 Plymouth Chamber Annual Dinner Thursday June 20thPlymouth Chamber of Commerce will be having their annual dinner on Thursday June 20th at Christo’s Banquet Center.

The event will start at 5:30 with a reception and market place of ideas, followed by dinner at 6:30. The guest speaker will be Bethel College Men’s Basketball Coach Mike Lightfoot. Mr. Lightfoot has been head coach at his alma mater for 24 years. As a Coach Mr. Lightfoot has won 7 National Titles all at Bethel College, has won 600 basketball games quicker than any coach in collegiate history and was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in the same class as legendary Coach John Wooden. He has been named National Coach of the year seven times.

In addition the chamber will be giving out Chamber Awards for Person of the year, the Walter A Glaub Business of the year award, Not-for-Profit Business of the year and Ambassador of the year. Chamber members can still vote until Friday May 10th.  The nominees for the Walter A Glaub Business of the Year Award are: Hoosier Tire, Johnson Danielson Funeral Home, Morrow Insurance, Plymouth Ponderosa and Treats Squire Shop.

Chamber Individual of the Year Award Nominees are: Randy Danielson, Johnson Danielson Funeral Home, Ryan S. Jessen -1st Source Bank, Susie Reinholt- Plymouth Public Library, Linda Rippy – MC Historical Society Museum, Sam Schlosser – Plymouth Foundry.

Chamber Not for Profit of the Year Nominee’s – 5 Star Program, Boys & Girls Club, Center for Hospice, Earthworks and The Neighborhood Center.

Tickets will be available at the chamber office, $35 per person and tables of 8 can be purchased for $240.00.
