The Plymouth Freshmen Boys Basketball team traveled to Tippecanoe Valley on Tuesday night and got all they could handle from the Vikings, but came away victorious in a 38-35 overtime thriller.  The Pilgrims were up 8 points at halftime, but Valley made a charge in the third quarter to make it at a two point game, 26-24, going into the fourth quarter.  The game was tied and Plymouth had the ball with 19 seconds left, but came up short on their last second attempts.  Matt Friar started overtime by getting to the basket and making the layup, but Valley answered right away.  After a missed shot by Plymouth, the Vikings were able to take a one point lead by hitting one of two shots from the free throw line.  On the following possession, Braydon Davidson came through for the Pilgrims by getting into the lane and taking a shot that bounced around the rim and eventually fell through the net.  After a Sam Stone steal on the inbound pass, Cam Eveland was fouled and knocked down both free throws to take a three point advantage with nine seconds left. Valley got one more attempt to try send the game into a second overtime but came up just short as the final buzzer sounded.  Matt Friar led Plymouth with 12 points while Cam Eveland and AJ Styers chipped in 7 and 6 points respectively. Plymouth is now 10-3 and will travel to Northridge on Thursday.
