07/16/13 Sixty-six year old Lawrence Tinsman of Plymouth was in Federal Court on Friday for charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.
An Indiana State Police detective uncovered a user sharing photographs on an internet software sharing file. Twenty-six of the images were determined to be child pornography. The detective traced the IP address and was able to secured a search warrant for Tinsman’s home computers.
Investigators located child pornography on two computers located in the home. At that point he admitted to downloading hundreds of images during the past 10 years.
Tinsman will appear in federal court again on Tuesday for a detention hearing.
He was remanded into federal custody until then.
