11/22/13 In January of 2012 the Argos Police Department was contacted by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department in reference to a child molestation case they were working.

During the course of their investigation it was discovered that the suspect molested two step-sisters when he was living in Argos and home on leave from the military in 2008.

Argos Police Chief, Rodney Rudd along with Indiana State Police and the Marshall County Department of Family Services started our own investigation which led us to James A. Walker who was stationed at Camp Zama, Japan.

On October 2, 2012 a warrant was issued for the arrest of James A. Walker. 

Chief Rudd made contact with Criminal Investigation Department at Fort Knox and the US Army started their own investigation which led to the arrest of James Walker. 

25 year old James A. Walker of Louis Street in Plymouth was transported back to the United States from Japan and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department took him into custody on Tuesday and lodged him in the Marshall County Jail where he is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
