10/21/13 On October 12th and 13th, the Plymouth United FC U11 Travel Girls Soccer Team traveled to Zionsville, Indiana to compete in the Socctoberfest Tournament.  The girls played hard all weekend beating the Kokomo Renegades (4-2) and the  United Soccer Alliance of Indiana (2-1) on Saturday.  They played an exciting semi-final game against the Plainfield Optimist Revolution.  Fransheska Cantero sent the game to overtime by scoring a long range goal in the last minutes of the game.  After 9 minutes of overtime, Julia Kinney scored a goal to tie the game sending both teams to penalty kicks.  Plymouth came out on top when Lindsay Janus, Aubrey Vervynckt, and Madison Stiles made their penalty kicks winning the shoot-out 3-2.  Plymouth faced Kokomo again for the championship game and defeated them 2-1.   This marks the second year the girls traveled to Socctoberfest and the second year they’ve gone undefeated.  Great job Plymouth U11!!
