On Saturday and Sunday, August 3rd and 4th, the boys traveled to South Bend Eastside to play in the Irish Classic Tournament.
The boys went three and one for the weekend. Lost to Mishawaka Heat 3-2 in the first game. Due to a team in our pool not being able to play the boys then played the Heat again and won 12-0. In bracket play on Sunday the boys played a team from Auburn and won 6-1. That put them in the championship game and where they played a very good Chet Waggner team and won 1-0 on a home run by Cole Filson.

Clay Hilliard had seven hits and two RBI’s.
Cole Filson had five hits with six RBI’s and two home runs.
Cam Dennie had three hits and three RBI’s with a home run.
Ezra Winkle had five hits.
Tim Tremaine had four hits.
Kendall Himes had two hits with 2 RBI’s
Kam Vanlue had two hits.
One tournament left and that is the Blueberry Tournament.
